Encountering Others: A Call to Holiness

Who's the last person you wanted to be like? A sports star? A famous musician? A best friend? But who should we be like. The Catholic tradition offers thousands of role models. I met one of the saints at World Youth Day, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. He lived in Italy during a time of repression. He remained single because he felt he could do the most good in that state of life. He served the poor unselfishly (read more about him here).
