Smallness of Stature

Celebrating Mass with Pope Francis and 3 million other Catholics puts the universality of Catholicism into perspective. It can also make you feel a bit small. The Gospel on Sunday was about Zaccheus, a man who history (and a famous song) notes was a "wee little man." Pope Francis reminded the young Church that this smallness of stature, this feeling of unworthiness is a great temptation for us to be pulled into. But it isn't real. Our true stature, our real place, is as a child of God. That is who you are.

Today's Challenge:

Reflect upon who you are as a child of God

Reflection Questions:

1. When do I feel unworthy?

2. How does this unworthiness cause me to act?

3. Who am I as a child of God?
