Our Lady of Czestochowa, Pray for Us

The icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa is known as a Hodegetria - or one who points the way. In this image, the Virgin Mary uses her right hand to point towards Jesus. Jesus, in turn, points at the viewer, while holding a book of the Gospels in his left hand. Let us pray that we might be like Our Lady of Czestochowa, always pointing the way towards Christ, the Author and Finisher of Salvation.
